Finally, autumn/fall is upon us! It’s my most favourite season of the year. As the nights get longer and darker, nothing beats hiding myself behind some books.
But dark times bring me to another topic: Is it just me, or are the times getting darker? Bad news around the globe. It’s not the apocalypse, but forgive me if the thought creeps in.

Definitely man’s greed for THINGS has overshadowed the simpler things in life. We have become a consumer society and Those Two Evil Men (on both continents and sides of the globe) – who are greedily seizing whatever they want and trampling on rights and freedoms that our ancestors fought and died for – are making this a very scary place to live in. You can’t say what you want to anymore. I won’t be able to go down to the U.S. until the next US election gets rid of that boil on the butt of DEMOCRACY! I hope you are doing well. Glad to see you posting more book reviews. I’ve read a few excellent books and will try to post some as well, but I’ve been a tad busy in other areas of my life.
