Ever since the Iron Druid Chronicles ended, I wanted to return to his world, and Aloysius MacBharrais is the right agent for that.
It’s kind of bitter sweet, to be honest. Kevin’s approach to Urban Fantasy works wonders, as always, and he keeps being an inventor of interesting magic systems.
But I miss the Druid, honestly. I also think Kevin might run a risk of writing himself in a corner with this sigil based magic. But it is fun, and the mystery regarding the curse of our hero will be having me pick up the second book anytime in the probably not too distant future.
